I am Assistant Professor (tenure-track) in the Department of Economics at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, Italy.

I am an applied micro-economist, with research interests in labor, family, education and health. My current research focuses on the connections between culture, institutions and public policies with individuals’ and families’ behavior and human capital accumulation. My published research examines how individuals respond to education and health policies, by using structural and reduced-form econometric methodologies.

Before joining Ca’ Foscari, I was research fellow at the University of Verona (2018-2020), post-doctoral researcher at the University of Gothenburg (2015-2017) and Max Weber fellow at the European University Institute (2013-2015).

I am also a research associate at the Department of Economics, University of Gothenburg, and a research fellow at Centre for Health Economics (CHEGU), Centre for Household, Income, Labour and Demographic Economics (CHILD-Collegio Carlo Alberto) and Research Centre on Labour Policies Carlo Dell’Aringa (CRILDA).
